Choose sustainability
Say hello to BMW’s 320e series, the German automaker’s new, entry-level plug-in hybrid that adds “sustainability” to its popular 3 Series executive Sedan. A lower-priced alternative to the more powerful 330e, the 320e uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine in conjunction with an electric motor and battery for a combined output of 201bhp. Whether you choose a Sedan, Touring or xDrive Touring model, you’ll save money and the planet—thanks to the standard BMW Live Cockpit Plus, which includes BMW Points, a digital service that rewards you for reducing CO2 (and noise!) in inner-city areas.
A smarter, cleaner drive
The first BMW 3 Series Touring with Plug-in Hybrid drive sets new standards in driving pleasure and sustainability. A wide range of equipment options covers functionality, driving dynamics, driver assistance and connectivity to ensure you’re “plugged in” to reduce CO 2 emissions—even when you’re not. GPS geofencing activates the purely electric driving mode when you enter any recognized eDrive Zone in more than 80 European cities. Redeemable points against public charging payments are given for every kilometre covered under electric power — doubled in eDrive Zones.
More options, more range
The new BMW 320e Sedan accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 km/h. The corresponding figures for the new BMW 320e Touring are 7.9 seconds and 220 km/h, while for the new BMW 320e xDrive Touring they are 8.2 seconds and 219 km/h. In purely electric driving mode, the new plug-in hybrid models can reach a top speed of 140 km/h. The pure electric range for the series varies from 61 kilometres for the Sedan, 59 kilometres for Touring, and 57 kilometres for xDrive Touring.
