Fiat is returning to the large city car segment with the electric 600e. That 4.17-metre crossover gets the same battery and electric motor as the Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 and the new Jeep Avenger, among others, and promises up to 400 kilometres with a full battery.
The 600e is the big brother of the small electric 500e but looks more assertive in the front. It features an updated LED light signature and larger wheels. Despite its limited length, this Fiat should comfortably accommodate five people and provide best-in-class storage in the front, with 15 litres of storage compartments, including in the smart centre tunnel with flexible cup holders. The boot offers a reassuring 360-litre volume.
Done with grey
Fiat will no longer offer its new models - with the 600e being the first - in shades of grey. Only vivid colours, black or white will still be possible. Moreover, the interior of the new 600e offers "colour therapy", as Fiat calls it. Up to eight distinct colours can be chosen for the dashboard and ambient lighting, with another eight shades for the radio and screen lighting, making a total of 64 different colour combinations, for a truly immersive experience.
