Built for success
With Tesla's launches of Model S, 3, X and now the new Model Y, the last letter has been added and now completes the word "S3XY", which the four model numbers form side by side.
So far, there’s a lot to like. Starting with the interior, the cabin is very similar to one we already know from the smaller Model 3. Minimalistic but full of smart technology and with a 15" screen centrally located in the front. Also, the new Model Y adds the SUV styling of the Model X, along with extra luggage space and an optional third row of seats.
Spacious. Stylish. Effective.Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks his Tesla Model Y could be the bestselling car of any kind anywhere in the world.
All the best from Tesla - even better
With all the best we know from Tesla gathered in a robust and electric SUV, the Model Y is designed to deliver a driving experience that is both smart, comfortable and incredibly safe.
Designed to be the safest car in its class, the Model Y comes with an improved autopilot, emergency braking and collision warnings as well as blind-spot monitoring as standard. Furthermore, the extended version will have a Full Self-Driving capability and the ability to come find you anywhere in a parking lot through the Summon feature.
Passengers can enjoy a clear view of the sky through the panorama glass roof, and with an elevated seating position and low dash, the driver has a commanding view of the road ahead.
