From the 15th of October 2024 all company car users who are being taxed for their car must be registered as a secondary user in DMR with name and CPR number. We've made a small FAQ to get you up to date:

What does the new rule mean? This means that all drivers who are to be taxed on a recently ordered company car, or who change cars via a driver change, must be updated with the CPR number in DMR.

Which vehicles does this apply to? This rule applies to all vehicles, whether they are registered as new, get new drivers, extensions or re-registrations.

What happens in practice? In practice, this means that we will ask your drivers for authorization that we may use their CPR number to register their company car.

Why do we need to collect power of attorney? It will not be possible to register and deliver a company car without power of attorney and in-formation on the CPR number. It will also not be possible to change drivers, extend or change the contract without power of attorney and CPR number. This is in accordance with the applicable legislation.

How do we collect the power of attorney? The inquiry will be made in connection with ordering/changing the leasing agreement, where the driver will receive an email with a link to MitID validation and signature of power of attorney.

We encourage you as a company to update your internal car policy, so that drivers are informed about the requirement for registration of secondary users on the registration certificates.
