Frequently asked questions
We would like to keep you on the move. Anytime. Anywhere.
To avoid potential damage charges, please read the BVRLA guides we have for either cars or vans to ensure your vehicle is in the right condition, getting any repairs or replacements in advance.
You can also be charged if the vehicle is missing any items, so please ensure that all the items that were provided with your vehicle on delivery are returned. These include, but are not exclusive to: spare keys, satellite navigation discs, log book (if you have it) and fixtures and fittings (headrests, parcel shelf etc.). Any items missing when the vehicle is collected will be charged for. For more details, please read the Fair Wear and Tear section.
If you have any signage/logos on your vehicle, please also remove these as otherwise you'll be charged.
Our standard waiver is £175, which means if the total cost is below this, there will be no charge to you. If the charges go over the £175 threshold then you will be invoiced the full amount. You may have a bespoke waiver as specified in your contract which will be applied once we receive and validate your vehicle.
Some of the items may quote manufacturer pricing which means we will need to obtain a quote for the correct pricing.
To avoid excess mileage charges, please stay within your contracted mileage, and if you need to make any adjustments, please speak to your customer services team.

No, nowhere in your contract does it state that you get a refund if you drive less miles that the amount agreed in your contract. If you still have more than 6 months left on your contract, you may be able to reduce the mileage in your contract.
If you go over your contracted mileage, you can check your contract in My LeasePlan for the terms to estimate in advance what the cost will be.
If you're paying your monthly rental in arrears, one final payment will be taken once you've returned your vehicle.
We charge for lease rentals until the day your vehicle is collected, but if you're paying in arrears, the final payment will be taken once the vehicle has been collected. There wil also be an early termination charge as well as potentially excess mileage and excess wear and tear.
If you have a finance lease agreement, we'll charge you 2% of the sale price when your vehicle is sold.
You will get an invoice and credit note with two transactions appearing on your bank account as detailed below. There may be a time gap between these transactions appearing, but they should both happen on the same day.
• Sales invoice: a charge for 100% of the sale price of your vehicle.
• Rebate of rental credit note: a credit to cover 98% of the sale price of your vehicle (so you only pay 2%).
This will depend on the product. Please get in touch with us using the orange contact icon on the bottom right corner of your screen.
