Are Ayvens regulated by the FCA?

Yes, there are no changes to the legal entity, LeasePlan UK Limited, and it will continue to be regulated by the FCA for our consumer channels. The FCA have been notified of our new trading style as Ayvens

Do customer contracts, lease details, or the fees customers pay change?

None of these details change from our perspective, mainly because:

Our registered company number remains the same

Our bank account number remains the same

Our VAT number remains the same

There’s no change to the legal entity ‘LeasePlan UK Limited’, it’s just our ‘trading style’ that’s changing

Does this mean the breakdown / tyre / other assistance providers have changed?

No, these providers and suppliers remain in place, although we have asked them to update any references from LeasePlan to Ayvens for legacy LeasePlan customers to support us in our transition to Ayvens

I thought Ayvens included ALD, why do they still have the ALD logo and branding?

You’re right, Ayvens does include ALD; we’re just phasing our rebrand to keep any disruption to our customers to a minimum.

Should I say I have a LeasePlan or an Ayvens vehicle when I contact someone for help with  my vehicle

While our suppliers should know that old LeasePlan is new Ayvens, there may be occasions when you may have to mention LeasePlan, especially for garages and assistance providers who may not have had the memo yet! Equally, if you accidentally refer to LeasePlan, the supplier should be able to identify the vehicle in the same way. If in doubt, please give them your registration number so they can look you up.

What is changing from 3 October?

Ayvens is now a trading style of LeasePlan in the UK, so we are representing ourselves as part of the Ayvens group.

- There’s no change to the legal entity ‘LeasePlan UK Limited’, so all our official company details, banking information, and legal or regulatory requirements remain the same.
- You’ll start to see the new Ayvens logo and colour scheme, as well as references to Ayvens instead of LeasePlan, on some systems and communications.
- You may also see the company name appear as “LeasePlan trading as Ayvens (or t/a) Ayvens” on documents like invoices or on your bank statements.
- A new Ayvens UK website will be launched, and we’ll redirect any LeasePlan traffic to the new Ayvens site. The existing ALD UK website is still live.
- We’re expecting that most order systems and communications, in life communications and websites/portals will be rebranded for 3 October. Some other systems may take a little longer to be rebranded

Who will see the new Ayvens branding from 3 October?

If you or your company have a direct relationship with LeasePlan, as opposed to having come to us via a broker, we will contact you using the Ayvens brand. It’s also possible that other customers may notice our new Ayvens brand on some shared services.

If you are a supplier to LeasePlan, you’ll be contacted using the Ayvens brand.

If you are an ALD customer or a LeasePlan customer who arranged a lease via a broker, you may start to see our new Ayvens brand.

Why do LeasePlan cars through a broker still appear as LeasePlan and not Ayvens

Why have I seen Ayvens linked with Société Generale, what does this mean?

Ayvens is a new global mobility brand born from the union of the ALD and LeasePlan groups. LeasePlan UK Limited and ALD Automotive Limited are UK legal entities which are part of the Société Generale group. Société Generale already owned the ALD group, and subsequently bought the LeasePlan group in May 2023. In the UK, the Ayvens brand will be phased in as we continue to integrate our businesses, starting with the introduction of Ayvens as a trading style of LeasePlan UK Limited.

Will customers have to change their Direct Debit

here’s no change to the legal entity ‘LeasePlan UK Limited’, it’s just our ‘trading style’ that’s changing. For new customers, the Direct Debit mandate template will be updated to reflect ‘LeasePlan t/a Ayvens’ with the new logo, but the legal entity is still LeasePlan UK.

Will the company reference change when money is taken from my account by Direct Debit?

Yes, this should change to ‘LeasePlan t/a Ayvens’, so you will still see that it’s a LeasePlan payment.
