We are looking for:

As a Senior Structural Risk Manager you will primarily implement the risk management framework as defined by parent company Société Générale’s risk department. You will annually update/review of structural risk policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will challenge processes in which structural risk topics are covered (ICAAP, ILAAP, Stress Testing, Recovery Plan). Lastly, you will review risk indicator framework and risk appetite setting process and identify risk drivers and emerging risks both at group and local levels.

Structural Risk comprises Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), Currency Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk. The Structural Risk Management team ensures independent oversight and challenge of day-to-day risk management activities in the perimeter of structural risk performed by first line of defence when managing their risks. The team evaluates existing processes, understands the risks that arise as part of business activities and takes part, as appropriate, in the determination of any remedial actions needed.

An overview of task and responsibilities in the role:

  • Representing the team in key projects and discussions across all of the risk types within the structural risk domain;
  • Coordination of the structural risk input into the broader risk management cycle, including risk identification, materiality assessments, ICAAP, Contingency Plan, Recovery Plan, etc.;
  • Ensuring that the structural risk policy framework remains up-to-date;
  • Coordination of structural risk reporting into the Risk Committees;
  • Contributing to and challenging first line of defence in maintaining the indicators framework used to monitor structural risk and the setting of risk appetite;
  • Contributing to and challenging first line of defence in maintaining an appropriate liquidity risk management framework, including the scenarios used for stress testing purposes;
  • Provide training on structural risk related topics to internal stakeholders.



To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:

The colleague we are looking for is able to work in an international banking culture. You are committed, reliable, enthusiastic and you are passionate about your job. You are also comfortable in handling confidential information, and you have a high level of integrity.

  • 7+ years of work experience in financial services, preferably in the field of Asset & Liability Management or Treasury;
  • Relevant University degree preferably in a financial area (e.g.  in Economics, Finance, Econometrics);
  • CFA, FRM or equivalent qualification preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience in writing / contributing to regulatory reporting (RCI, ICAAP, Recovery Plan) and risk policies;
  • Experience in an international business environment and working with different countries, cultures and teams is a plus;
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks within financial institutions.
