For our Regulatory Reporting & Data Steward vacancy we are looking for a new colleague at our Paris, Rueil Malmaison based office. Within the Finance department, the data stewards are part of DTO and responsible for ensuring that Finance has a single platform (e.g. Global Data Hub) with high quality and consistent data for various internal and external reporting use cases. The data stewards effectively help to ensure that Ayvens has high quality data in finance to meet the relevant accounting and prudential (reporting) requirements, performs reporting to various stakeholders and assists the group in decisions that are affected and/or driven by (prudential) regulations.
 

The team closely collaborates with all relevant stakeholders within the group such as other Finance teams (Tax, Consolidation & Reporting), Digital / IT, Risk Management, Treasury and local entities.
 

ALD Automotive and LeasePlan are currently integrating into Ayvens. Majority of the projects and data initiatives pursued in finance are part of the integration. This role and DTO team are fundamental and key for finance during the integration phase as well as the transformation phase following.


 

Our ideal candidate is working with an outperforming drive and has an analysing and problem-solving mentality. You are responsible for:
 

  • Prepare and analyse business requirements for data needed for various monthly and quarterly regulatory and statistical reports Ayvens finance needs;
  • Play a key role in the implementation of IT, process and reporting changes as a result of the changing (regulatory) reporting requirements and further automation of the finance and regulatory reporting, by reducing end-user computing;
  • Maintain the functional (and technical) regulatory reporting data flows and process, together with stakeholders involved;
  • Define requirements for data quality, analyse data sets and follow-up in proposing remedial actions to improve data sets used in reporting.


 

To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:


The ideal candidate is organisationally as well as socially sensitive ability to effectively maintain a constructive working relation-ship with all central, local operational and Société Générale teams.

 

  • Minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience in a reporting, data analyst or controlling role within an international financial services company or big-4 firm;
  • Proven experience with requirements setting, large data sets and reporting thereof. Experience with relevant regulatory reporting (e.g. CoRep, FinRep, LCR) and/or requirements is considered a strong plus;
  • Experience in (large) IT / data projects, change management and agile / scrum way of working;
  • Excellent Excel and data analyses skills (e.g. SQL, PowerBi);
  • Excellent business analysis skills and functional Finance skills;
  • Demonstrated management skills, including team Leadership, project coordination;
  • Experienced in managing complex projects, with high stakes, in international environments;
  • Facilitator of the mutual understanding between Finance and IT of each other requests and constraints;
  • Capable of understanding and combining both operational and strategic insights in the work being done.
