Senior Financial Accountant - 12 month FTC

Overall Job Purpose 

- Perform month end reporting and analysis and interpret actual results versus 
forecast. 
- Ensure month end schedules required for group finance function are submitted 
accurately and timely.
- Oversee day to day management of external audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide submissions to the group finance function along with pertinent and 
insightful comments to explain key variances.
- Take a pro-active approach with the group finance function to ensure they are 
aware of any local business or regulatory changes that can influence local reporting.
- Oversee the day to day management of the external statutory audit of main trading entity, along with quarterly/half yearly audits.
- Maintain and submit financial control framework to ensure compliance with group accounting policies.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for all LPUK entities.

- Ownership of the Internal Control framework, contributing to a robust financial control environment.

Desirable Education & Technical Ability

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).

- Degree level in an Accountancy, Business or Statistics based subject or experience led equivalent.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Fluent in business English language, with excellent written and verbal 
communication skills.

Desired Previous Work Experience

- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail – essential 
- Ability to think and take initiative with the confidence and initiative to challenge
processes as required within remit.
- Experience of working within Audit.
