About the role

The person holding the role of Senior Holding Accountant is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of six LeasePlan entities.
He/she manages cash and capital to and from subsidiaries, allocates costs to subsidiaries and is responsible for the continuous improvement of the entities' accounting and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Accounting and reporting of the 6 entities - complete, timely and accurate recording of transactions and journal entries in the SAP ECC financial system.
• IFRS 16 reporting and required internal reporting - Global financial reporting in SAP BPC, based on the LeasePlan Accounting and Reporting Manual (ARM).
• Review and allocate prepaid expenses, ensuring proper amortization over the relevant periods.
• Fixed assets management, depreciation and revaluation calculation and posting.
• Review payroll calculations, contributions, accruals prepare and post the journal entries.
• Calculate corporate taxes, deferred taxes and other tax liabilities. Prepare and post tax-related journal entries.
• Various activities within companies - calculation and/or recharging of expenses, taxes, accruals or provisions.
• Monitor and implement ICF (Internal Control Framework) to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Digital RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment) conduct digitalized risk assessments to evaluate and strengthen financial controls.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with company leaders and colleagues from other LeasePlan entities.
• Balance sheet positions review for completeness and accuracy of data and supporting documentation
• Preparation of recurring and ad-hoc reports for the Accounting Manager and other stakeholders.
• Providing support in case of internal and external audit.
• Creating robust documentation, continuously updating it, storing and sharing it with the team and the direct manager.
• Increasing process-level performance by implementing standardization and improvement ideas.
• Providing support in defining the annual budget and monthly cost projections
• Management of other activities related to LPSC deliverables when required (e.g.: reporting activities, testing the functionality of new applications, process analysis requested by the direct coordinator, quality control activities)
