Frequently asked questions
Driving abroad
Always check with your employer if you are allowed to drive the car abroad. Then contact us well in advance before you travel so that you can get the necessary documents. When traveling you should always bring your own:
- Drivers license (make sure that the period of validity does not expire during the trip)
- Registration certificate (sent out when your car was delivered. Contact us if you need a new one)
- Green card (Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Morocco, Moldova, North Macedonia, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey, UK and Ukraine)
If you have Leaseplan's charging solution, the charging card works throughout Europe. To find the charging stations go to Plugsurfing's website and search for charging stations via the map.
You can use your fuel card abroad. If you have access to a LeasePlan fuel card, there are a few things that you should consider before you leave. Start by examining the period of validity of your card and that the card has European affiliation. Circle K Routex and Shell Europe are the fuel cards that you can use abroad. Also make sure the fuel card is in good condition (not cracked or with a broken magnetic strip). When abroad you have to use the four digit code for your fuel card, so please make sure that you memorize it.
